Privacy
Draft placeholder. The full policy will be published before launch, alongside ads.
Short version: your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us.
Your files
Every tool on JustEditFiles runs inside your web browser. When you open a file, it is read into your browser's memory on your device and processed there. We do not operate a server that receives, stores or looks at your files.
Data saved in your browser
Two things can be saved in your browser's local storage on your device: your light/dark theme choice, and your “My Watermark” (text, style and logo) if you choose to save one. This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time, with the “Delete my saved watermark” button on the My Watermark page or by clearing your browser's site data.
Advertising and analytics
The site does not show ads yet. When it does, we plan to use Google AdSense, which may use cookies. This section will be updated with full details and consent options before any ads go live. Ads will never appear inside the editing workspace or next to download buttons.
Changes
This page is a placeholder and will be replaced with the complete policy before launch.
